Dr. Gilbert is the owner of Richland Animal Hospital. She is a native of Western Michigan and was born and raised in Grand Rapids. She attended Aquinas College for her undergraduate degree, and received her doctoral training and Veterinary Degree from Michigan State University in 1991.
Dr. Gilbert is married to Mike, an architectural designer, and enjoys the company of three grown step-children and three delightful grandchildren.
After twelve years of veterinary experience, it is her pride and honor to own and operate this hospital in such an outstanding and friendly village and community. Dr. Gilbert’s goal is to keep her medical services and consults on a personal level. She wants to be available for you during the joys of your pet ownership. Providing a “quality” hospital, not a high-volume hospital, is her commitment to you. |

Dr. Dindonis has always loved the natural world. She studied entomology and did
research in plant-insect interactions, but later made a career change to Veterinary
Medicine because she wanted to contribute more directly to animals and people
alike. She received her DVM from MSU in 1986, and since then has been practicing
medicine in the Kalamazoo area. She enjoys working most with reptiles, but does not
like to support the ownership of exotic and wild animals. Her primary interest in
veterinary medicine is skin diseases and allergies because they are challenging to treat
and important for the well-being of animals and their owners.
Dr. Dindonis joined the team at Richland Animal Hospital in 2002. She is very
pleased to be part of this group striving to provide the best in animal care and
preventative medicine. She is fully supportive of our mission. She is dedicated to
providing special attention to each and every animal in order to individualize care
and treatment based on the needs of every owner-pet relationship. |
