Tigger Chabitch

Tigger is almost 14 years old. In the fall, he started to lose weight and have diarrhea. Michelle, his "Pet Mom", allowed us to check his blood for abnormalities. On a routine screen, no elevations were found. We then recommended a specialty test that would go to Texas A&M Laboratory to check his pancreas and his small intestinal vitamin levels. Tigger was found to have pancreatitis and very low Vitamin B12 levels or Cobalamin. We are happy to report that he is a robust 13 pound cat today, who is treated once a month with Vitamin B12 injections. Tigger is back to himself and full of spirit much to the delight of Michelle and our staff.
