Simon Black

Simon was an abandoned kitten in a litter dropped off at Animal Control that made its way to our hospital. Out of the litter, he was the kitty who had no fear and loved everyone and everybody (including large dogs). However, Simon has been chronically ill with a FHV-1 infection, commonly called Herpes virus. His mom, Mrs. Black, has been a wonderful care provider. She has tried many different medications to control his chronic eye drainage, sneezing fits and congestion. And, in spite of all of his illness, Simon takes his medication with out a hiss or bite. He's quite a cool cat and that is what makes him our patient of the month.
