Dr. Lisa Ciucci - A recent MSU graduate in Veterinary Medicine, Lisa is very eager to join our team as our third veterinarian. She is a Kalamazoo native and is glad to be back in the area. She is very passionate about animals and is excited to put her education to work. A third veterinarian will allow us to offer more daily appointments to our clients while decreasing waiting time.

Amelia - A graduate from Hillsdale College, Amelia has a degree in biology with a chemistry minor and a strong interest in veterinary science. Her enthusiasm for animal care and enjoyable personality are a true benefit to our hospital.

Amie - Practice manager and technician in charge of day to day operations of the hospital. Amie oversees all of the patients and clients and keeps the office running smoothly. She manages the inventory and if special medications need to be ordered, she is the staff member to talk to. Amie is a long time resident of the Richland area and comes to us with both a background in Veterinary Medicine and Human Medicine.

Jan - Office manager in charge of patient accounts and billings. She is our in-house bookkeeper and can assist you with any and all billing questions or payment arrangements. Jan has many years of accounting experience and she is also our resident computer specialist.

Christy - Christy is our senior-most employee and has worn many hats throughout her employment. Currently she is working as our exam room technician. She actively works with the doctors to meet your needs during your office visits. Christy handles all special food orders for your pets. Christy was employed with Dr. Gilbert in Grand Rapids and has been an animal technician for several years.

Vikki - Vikki is one of the primary technicians in charge of animal care and laboratory testing. Vikki has lived in the Gull Lake area since grammar school. In addition to working at Richland Animal Hospital, Vikki rides and trains sport horses.

Diane - Diane is responsible for entering all of the doctor's notes into patient files and sending our reminder cards to all of our clients. Diane is a long time resident of Richland and spends her free time taking care of her 20+ alpacas at her farm.

Anna - Anna is a licensed veterinary technician who graduated from MSU in June, 2006. Anna is from the Sleeping Bear Dunes area of Empire. We enjoy her enthusiasm for the profession and her expertise for the care of our pets.

Roseanna – Roseanna is a Michigan native who has recently been married and relocated to the Kalamazoo area with her husband. She graduated from Baker in 2003 where she received her degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her compassionate demeanor, exceptional animal-handling skills and knowledge of veterinary medicine makes her an excellent addition to our team.

Megan – Megan is currently attending Portage Northern High School. She enjoys playing water polo, running, snowboarding, yoga & pilates. She is planning on attending Michigan State for her undergrad in pre-vet and hopes to someday open her own vet clinic. Megan takes excellent care of our hospitalized and boarded animals and makes sure the clinic is always fresh.

Stacey – Stacey is a Portage native who has joined our team in the fall of 2007. She is an integral part of our support staff, taking excellent care of the animals in our kennel area and helping to keep our entire clinic organized and fresh. She has a great personality and spirit, making her an incredible asset to our family.

Deb – Deb has lived in Richland for 30 years and recently retired from the recycling industry. She has been married for 29 years, has 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter. She works in our discharge department and her love of working with animals and people is a perfect fit into Richland Animal Hospital.

Bridgette – Bridgette is currently attending Aquinas College and is majoring in Biology. In the future she plans on attending Michigan State University (MSU) to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine and hopes to one day own her own clinic. Her love for animals makes her a great asset to our clinic.
